Detailed Itinerary Day 1-4 | On arrival you will be met by our professional representative at Cape Town International Airport and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis in a superior double room at The Constantia for 3 nights. The Constantia Situated in the heart of the Cape's oldest wine region, The Constantia is an elegant and luxurious boutique hotel offering a unique and special holiday experience. The Constantia has six luxurious suites from which to choose for your superior bedroom accommodation. There are two suites with en suite bathrooms and four superior double suites with walk-in cupboards, separate sitting rooms and private patios. Alternatively, hire the entire apartment, which can incorporate two or three bedrooms, with a private lounge and a private dining area that includes a Chef's kitchen. Day 4-6 |After a leisurely breakfast you will be met at your hotel and transferred to The Franschhoek, situated in the beautiful Cape Winelands. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis in a superior double at The Franschhoek for 2 nights Welcome to Franschhoek, Valley of the Huguenots, one of the premier destinations in the World of Wine. The green valleys and rolling vineyards are surrounded by mountain ranges, while the town itself boasts many historic homesteads and monuments, most famous of which is the Huguenot Memorial. The Franschhoek The Franschhoek is an historic residence in the centre of what many regard as the most picturesque village in the Cape Winelands. The village of Franschhoek is a wine and food lover's delight and a haven for artists. The Franschhoek has six charming and luxurious double rooms with en suite bathrooms each with their own traditional Cape charm, opening onto a small, shaded garden. The hotel will be able to arrange special wine tours, and for golf lovers there are two luxury golf resorts just 15 minutes away. Horse riding, hiking and bird watching are just some of the other activities on offer in the area. Day 6-8 | After an early morning breakfast you will be met and transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to George. (Flight is excluded in tour cost). On arrival at George Airport you will be met and transferred to Lake Pleasant Living. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis in a 1 bedroom suite at Lake Pleasant Living for 2 nights The Garden Route, a panoramic region idyllically placed between the Indian Ocean and the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains. The Outeniqua Mountains form a formidable barrier to the moist breeze coming in off the Indian Ocean. This forces the air to rise. Precipitation occurs, causing rain to fall, creating a lush band of beautiful forests, valleys, rivers and spectacular ocean scenery. Depart the Nature’s Playground (Knysna Region) for the malaria-free Shamwari Game Reserve. Overnight on a full board basis including 2 daily game drives at Shamwari for 2 nights. Shamwari Game Reserve This 20 000 hectares (49000 acres) private game reserve situated in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, has received numerous international awards, including the World's Leading Conservation Company and Game Reserve for five consecutive years. It is situated in verdant bush along the Bushmans River, halfway between Port Elizabeth (45 minutes drive outside the city) and Grahamstown, a pleasant drive from Cape Town, forming a natural extension to the famous Garden Route. Upon arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, you will be met by your driver for a private road transfer to the world renowned Kruger National Park - where nearly 2 million hectares of unrivaled diversity of life forms fuses with historical and archaeological sights – this is real Africa. Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Overnight on a full board including 2 daily game drives basis in a standard room at Jock Safari Lodge for 3 nights. Jock Safari Lodge Jock Safari Lodge is the first private lodge set in the heart of Africa's premier wildlife reserve, the Kruger National Park. Situated in the southern region, sightings of animals including the BIG FIVE can be seen while relaxing around the rock pool or from the comfort and privacy of your own room. Day 13 | A wake-up knock on your door. Tea and refreshments will be served on the main terrace. Depart on the morning game drive in open 4x4 safari vehicles, stopping for refreshments in the heart of the bush and return to lodge for a hearty breakfast. This morning you will be transferred to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for your flight to Johannesburg International Airport. (Flight is excluded in tour cost ).
