Welcome to an exceptional city, a place where dreamers find inspiration, where lovers are compelled to return, time and again. Cape Town is a sophisticated city at the gateway to a majestic continent. The “Mother City” is both modern and humble. It is a place where old and new harmoniously converge - in history, architecture, cultural pursuits and the essence of its people. Table Bay Hotel Cape Town, South Africa's most popular travel destination has rightfully earned its reputation as one of the world's most beautiful cities alongside that of Sydney and San Francisco. The Table Bay Hotel, located on Cape Town's Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, straddles the antique breakwater and is an architectural masterpiece, capturing the essence of the enchanting Cape, the Victorian elegance of yesterday, combined with the contemporary design of today. It is in perfect harmony with the backdrop of Table Mountain, the historic working harbor and the yacht bay. Local Attractions: • Table Mountain with it’s panoramic views of Cape Town and Table Bay • V&A Waterfront situated in the working harbor of Cape Town, South Africa’s most visited attractions • Robben Island Museum, one of South Africa’s World Heritage Sites, it was a place of banishment, exile, isolation and imprisonment • Boulders Beach, home to a very healthy population of African Penguins who have chosen the beach as their home and breeding ground • Cape Point or Cape of Good Hope, situated at the south-western tip of Africa, this is a must see local attraction. These are just some highlights of what this beautiful city has to offer. Day 9-10 | After an early breakfast you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Johannesburg Airport. Upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, continue to International Departure’s Terminal for your connecting flight to Zambia, Livingstone. (Flights are excluded in tour cost). On arrival in Livingstone you will be met and transferred to Chobe Chilwero Lodge in Botswana. You will travel by road, ferry and road. Overnight on a full board basis including 2 daily game activities at Chobe Chilwero Lodge for 1 night. The Chobe National Park, which is the second largest national park in Botswana and covers 10,566 square kilometer, has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. Its uniqueness in the abundance of wildlife and the true African nature of the region, offers a safari experience of a lifetime. Chobe Chilwero Lodge Deep in the heart of Botswana wilderness lies Chobe Chilwero Lodge, one of the most enchanting places on earth. You will enjoy creature comforts - elegantly appointed accommodations, silver service, gourmet meals and fine wines. Although located in Botswana, this small, intimate lodge is easily accessed from Zambia and the world famous Victoria Falls. Day 10-12 | After an early morning game activity and a sumptuous breakfast, you will be met and transferred back to Livingstone. On arrival check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at The Royal Livingstone Hotel for 2 nights. Livingstone is an authentically 'African' town. The view from this side of the gorge is equally spectacular, and during the low water period of October to February it is possible to walk right to the edge of the thundering Falls themselves or to swim (carefully!) in one of the rocky pools at the edge of the gorge. The Royal Livingstone The Royal Livingstone Hotel, stretches luxuriously along the banks of the Zambezi River. The Hotel consists of a series of 17 colonial-style buildings, with deep verandas, set amidst indigenous trees and plants. The main hotel is a sequence of thatch-roofed buildings, most African in their influence, and incorporates the lounge, restaurant and bar. A classic swimming pool visually links the waters of the river with the terraces of the hotel, with a sweeping timber deck planted in the swirling water of the Zambezi. Day 12 | This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the Livingstone Airport for your flight to Johannesburg International Airport. (Flight is excluded in tour cost).
