Guests are at their own mercy while staying at the Tongabezi Lodge and can choose to simply relax and enjoy the sights and luxuries provided by the lodge or they can make the most of the amazing activities that Victoria Falls is famous for. A valet is assigned to each lodge and tends to the needs of the guests throughout their stay.

The first of our four houses at Tongabezi, Honeymoon House earned its name because of its perfectly romantic location beside the Zambezi River. It was built with indulgence and privacy in mind – there is a private balcony overlooking the river that provides a perfect setting for a secluded candlelit dinner beneath the stars. Alternatively, you can choose to dine with our other guests on one of the river decks. Bird House is one of four superb thatched houses at Tongabezi. With sweeping views over the Zambezi River, it has an open-air sunken bath and a private terrace for dining under the stars. Guests can go canoeing on the river, join game drives, bush walks and a boat trip to Victoria Falls. Luxury camps such as Tongabezi provide a perfect base to explore this stunning corner of Africa. Tree House is one of four unique homes at Tongabezi; each individually designed and furnished with local materials. All four houses enjoy spectacular views of the Zambezi River and have open decks where guests can dine in private under the stars. A luxury lodge on the Zambia side of Victoria Falls, Tongabezi offers a range of activities including game drives, bush walks and sunrise and sunset boating trips. Each house is assigned a valet, who looks after guests’ every need during their stay. Located at the water’s edge and looking out across the Zambezi, Dog House is an open-fronted cottage uniquely designed and furnished with local materials. It is dominated by a comfortable king-size bed that comes with down pillows and duvet, and a large, airy mosquito net. Like all the houses at Tongabezi, it has a large open-air sunken bath with stunning views over the river. There is a spacious deck for private dining and, in common with all the rooms at Tongabezi, Dog House is assigned its own valet As well as our open-fronted houses, we have five River Cottages overlooking the banks of the Zambezi. Each has a large double bed or two singles, plus a mosquito net and ensuite bath and shower, along with indoor and outdoor areas where guests can dine under the stars or simply sit and enjoy the ever-changing river views. Because the River Cottages are close-fronted with gauze netting in the windows, we find they are better suited to guests who feel nervous about sleeping “outdoors”, but still wish to listen to the sounds of the bush at night. A valet is assigned to each cottage at Tongabezi luxury lodge. Victoria Falls is nearby for spectacular viewing trips by boat or private aircraft. The Garden Cottage is ideal for a family or couple seeking luxury and privacy close to Victoria Falls. The house is hidden behind a private walled garden and set back from the river. It is the only one of our properties without views of the Zambezi. Beautifully designed and furnished using local materials, it is fitted with a luxury king-size bed and has a private living room with fireplace, an open-air sunken bath and an additional twin bedroom.
